The Privacy Checker (PII Detector) scans your text for personally identifiable information that you might not want to publish or share.
- •Full names and partial names
- •Email addresses
- •Phone numbers
- •Physical addresses
- •Social security numbers
- •Credit card numbers
- •IP addresses
- •Dates of birth
- •Other PII patterns
How to use it: 1. Navigate to Privacy Checker or access it from the editor toolbar 2. Paste or type the text you want to check 3. Click "Check" — flagged PII items will be highlighted 4. Review each item and decide whether to remove, redact, or keep it
