What does feedback on your novel usually cost?

Pro is not competing with our free plan. It is competing with the alternatives below.

OptionCostWaitThe catch
Beta reader (swap or volunteer)Free2–6 weeksQuality varies enormously, and you owe them a read back. Many never finish.
Paid beta reader$50–$3002–6 weeksOne reader, one opinion. You cannot ask them to read it again after you revise.
Developmental edit (80k words)$2,400–$6,4004–12 weeksThe gold standard, and genuinely better than any AI read. Most writers cannot afford it per draft.
CipherWrite Pro$10.49/moMinutesIt is not a human. A great developmental editor will still beat it — but you can run this on every draft, and it never gets tired of you.

Pricing questions, answered

Is CipherWrite free?
Yes. The Free plan costs $0 forever and includes zero-knowledge encrypted writing and journaling, your first book, markdown support and limited AI analysis. No credit card is required to start.
How much does CipherWrite Pro cost?
Pro is about $10.49 per month, $23.09 every three months, or $83.97 per year. That works out to roughly $7.70 a month on the quarterly plan and $7 a month on the yearly one. Subscriptions are billed in Indian rupees (₹999 monthly, ₹2200 quarterly, ₹8000 yearly) and the dollar figures are converted at the live exchange rate, so they move slightly with the market.
What currency am I charged in?
Every plan is charged in Indian rupees (INR) through Razorpay — ₹999 monthly, ₹2200 quarterly, ₹8000 yearly for Pro. International cards are accepted, and the dollar prices shown on this page are converted at the live exchange rate so you can see what that works out to. Your bank sets the final rate it applies, so your statement may differ by a few cents.
Which billing cycle should I choose?
All three unlock exactly the same Pro features — only the billing frequency and the price differ. Monthly is ₹999. The three-month plan is ₹2200, about ₹733 a month, which saves 27% against paying monthly. Yearly is ₹8000, about ₹667 a month, and is the cheapest overall. Many writers pick the three-month plan because a first draft usually takes about that long. You can cancel any of them at any time.
What is the three-month launch offer?
The ₹2200 three-month price is a launch rate limited to 100 users. Once those 100 places are taken the offer closes and the banner disappears on its own — the cap is counted from real subscriptions rather than being a countdown for show.
What do I get when I upgrade to Pro?
Pro unlocks unlimited books and chapters, unlimited AI assistance, the AI Manuscript Auditor, premium writing guides, encrypted cross-device sync and backup, and Kindle-ready export.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account settings and keep Pro access until the end of the billing period you already paid for. Your writing always remains yours and stays exportable.
Does the free plan still encrypt my writing?
Yes. Zero-knowledge, client-side encryption applies on every plan, including Free. Your manuscript is encrypted on your device before it reaches the cloud, so nobody at CipherWrite can read it.
